Hi! My name is Tricia and I'm the owner of Empower Dance & Athletic Wear.
I've been involved in the dance world for over 25 years with training in ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theater. I've taught many students from introductory ballet and tap to pre-professional pointe and modern. Dance is truly my passion.
My family moved to SWFL in 2016 where we quickly joined the dance and theater communities. However, when looking for exciting dancewear and a selection of shoes, we found the options were limited. Why should our dancers, and their parents, have to travel 2-3 hours to find the supplies they need to be successful in dance. SWFL is an amazing arts community with opportunities for all ages. We needed a world class dance wear boutique to take care of our dancers. Enter Empower Dance & Athletic Wear. With many months of planning and sourcing products, we've gathered some of the best dance wear brands, with more coming, to bring you the most exciting shopping experience possible. We carry 8 lines of pointe shoes, 6 different ballet slippers, and multiple styles of tap, jazz, and lyrical shoes.
